What to do with a snow day:

on January 17, 2008 in Ze Bloggy Goodness with 5 comments by

1) Sleep late. [see previous post]

2) Eat breakfast on a PLATE at the table. [versus on a paper towel in my car]

3) Wear fleece pants. [just not appropriate for school]

4) Watch multiple episodes of Project Runway. [again, not appropriate at school]

5) Lose myself in the hollows of the internet. [blog stalking = good]

6) Wash clothes and pack for a weekend in Nashville. [step 3?]

7) Write write write write. [I may need to buy a computer WITHOUT the internet for my writing. Cold turkey is the only way to go.]

8) Shower. [eventually]

9) Create lots of lists. [I’ve got things to do, people. And it is a lot easier to make lists than actually DO them]

10) Make lunch. [I’m really glad Tatum goes to the grocery store.]

There MIGHT be snow and ice = you guys get a snowday.

5 inches of snow in Omaha = we still have to go about our normal lives.

    WIMPS!!

Hope you had a great relaxing snowday…I am so jealous.

As the one and only Downs that truly knows how to sleep late, you made a crucial error in your list. There’s no way that you can sleep late, eat breakfast, AND eat lunch. Sleeping late means you forfeit breakfast.

Sorry. Your busted. You didn’t reach true sleeping late status.

Can’t wait for Nashville! I don’t know what your schedule will be (or ours for that matter), but we all need to get together!!

Shireen, you are so midwestern. I agree, I’m a wimp. Raise that baby girl to be tough and love snow.

Amy, so true. And I laughed outloud. Makes me think of when y’all would come over to Kath’s and we would have to be quiet because you were sleeping. And I would pace back and forth desperately wanting my cool high school cousin to wake up. 🙂

Boggs, pees are so busy, you don’t even know. And I hope to see y’all this weekend as well.

Jamie, I mailed a box of snow to you. The box is made of ice. Hope it survives the travel to NYC.
