See? It will be like that.

Notice that I didn’t blog yesterday? AND I’M OKAY WITH THAT.

And see those 119 blog posts that are waiting in my google reader? I IGNORED THEM last night because I wanted to watch the American Idol finale.

Dear 119 bloggers, it’s not you. It’s me. In fact, I love you enough to not skim your blog, so I’ll read them for realz today while Brother and Sister take their daily naps.

[Dear boundaries, nice to meet you.]

Speaking of reading blogs, if you have some spare time and want to get to know the other people who come here everyday, head back to Monday’s post and do some clicking in the comment section. Because y’all are some GOOD WRITERS.ย  I loved reading them. It’s like we all sit in the same coffee shop everyday- let’s call it AnnieBlog CoffeeHouse – and it’s about time y’all made eye contact and waved. Cause you’re all here together…. and it’s awkward to see the same people every day and not say hey.

Don’t be awkward.

Except I am a lot. So whatever.

American Idol. Can we talk about Adam Lambert and KISS? Good gravy. And sweet Kris. That was beautiful. Let me give you a math equation:

Kris Allen + Keith Urban = highlight of the season for me.

So I leave in ONE WEEK for Capetown. Want to read more about my trip? You can go here. As well, I’ll be blogging live every day of the trip at the Mocha Club blog. Yeah, pretty much I get to blog everyday. From Africa. Breaks my heart? NOT. AT. ALL. Me gusto blogging for realz, no matter what hemisphere I’m in.

I think I’m going to make a video about packing. Cause maybe that will be funny. Or boring. [Or fun-ring. Or bor-nny. Funny and boring. Is that possible?]

Speaking of bloggy-videos, I’ve got part 1 of a 2-parter in the can. Part 2 will be done Friday so I’ll attempt to post it pre-taco job Friday night. Maybe it’s a 2 parter because I’m a big deal. But more likely, it’s a 2 parter about getting my new driver’s license because I went to the wrong office Tuesday and then ran out of time to go the the right office so I have to go tomorrow.

That was a run-on sentence.

If this is the kind of brain puke that Thursday has to offer, I don’t have much hope for today being all that profound.

So here’s a question: If you were REALLY at AnnieBlogs CoffeeHouse, what would you order? [I’d have a vanilla soy chai. It’s my favorite.]

    Let’s try that again w/o the code that I messed up… ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh mylanta – I canโ€™t even believe you said vanilla soy chaiโ€ฆ that or anything super caramely for me Big Train is the best brand of chai though, so please keep that in stock, ok?

    I’m a fan of the vanilla soi also . . .
but sometimes I like to order the “hot apple blast” at Caribou — it’s cider with caramel and cinnamon and whipped cream and it’s delicious (and clearly very healthy – just like drinking apple juice) ๐Ÿ™‚

I’d have to say a spiced chai. Because of your lineage (is that how you spell that?! I don’t want to get called out on here! but oh well!) You naturally have it in you to make awesome hot beverages! And second because you’ve experienced the best we’ve had yet at Jittery’s and you just do things bigger and better!!
    So that’s what I’d get!

European drinking chocolate in raw cow’s milk, steamed. I’m very “continental” you know.

This will sound boring but I’d have a bottle of water. The conversation would still be good though! I just don’t do coffee/tea etc.

Hi to the other people…I would like a hot chocolate please. With lots of cream on top. And a cookie. Yum. Thank you. ๐Ÿ™‚

I would have an iced vanilla latte with organic milk! Yummo. ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, I absolutely LOVED Kris and Keith Urban. Almost makes me a country music fan.

I don’t like coffee…can we still be friends? I would order hot cider or hot chocolate. Or a muffin. ๐Ÿ™‚

And oh yes, Kris Allen + Keith Urban = Too. Much. for my Heart.

You would have to post this on a morning when I’ve been fighting the temptation to make a Starbucks run….

I’m not much of a hot coffee drinker, so I hope you’ll have the cold ones, too! I’ll take a mocha frappuccino with a couple of extra shots of chocolate syrup. With whipped cream, please (is it homemade? oh I hope, I hope!) and chocolate drizzels on the top.

And could you maybe have some Walker’s Shortbread cookies (or Lorna Dunes, I’m not too snobbish about my shortbread)?

And can I wait and visit with everyone else once I get some caffeine in my system? Once I get started visiting, you’ll have to ask me to leave. ๐Ÿ˜€

I tuned into AI late, so I guess I missed Kris Allen and Keith Urban ): Bummer. But the end was totally worth it. Everyone in my house screamed with joy – we totally thought Adam Lambert was going to win. It was a good night.

I would order and iced nonfat chai. because that’s what I’m currently drinking…

Mmmm…vanilla chai latte with lots of vanilla foamy goodness.

I’d order a large hot chocolate – – never could get into coffee.

How cool about Capetown! I would so love to go on a mission trip sometime.

I’d order a soda or have water. I’m not a coffee drinker.

  16. posted on May 21, 2009 at 11:34 PM  |  reply

I would get something with the work “bor-nny” in it.

Boundaries are so very good for you. There’s a reason why we set them for our children when they are too young to do it for themselves. We just gotta grow up ya know? ๐Ÿ˜‰

As for my order, I would have an iced coffee (or maybe a latte) & a muffin. Yum!

I hate coffee. So I hope the AnnieBlogs Coffee Shop has Diet Coke with a lot of ice. And lime.

Mel, I am totally with you. Though I LOVE the aroma of a nicely brewed bean, I would have a Diet Coke, straight out of the can. No ice for me, thank you very much.

I’m one of those weirdos that goes to a coffee shop and orders Diet Coke.

I must just note the irony that in this post, you’ve identified the existence and blessing of boundaries in your life while at the same time being excited for the American Idol whose new song is called ‘No Boundaries.’

I hope you have an incredible time in South Africa. If you’ll be anywhere near Mozambique, give Sarah Olds a shout out for me. I miss Africa a lot.
