Shauna Niequist on the That Sounds Fun Podcast

Oh friends. Forgive the tardiness of this podcast. The vocal rest thing really messed up my schedule. But here is a new podcast for you- and boy do I love it.

I loved getting to chat with my friend and one of my favorite authors, Shauna Niequist. Her new book Savor has found its way into my daily readings and I’m all the better for it.

(You can download the episode here, or if you subscribe to the That Sounds Fun podcast, every new episode will drop into your podcast app. Or you can listen below!)

I love your podcasts! I think it would be super awesome if you could do one with Angie Smith. I was a part of her launch team for “Seamless” (Such an honor!) and I think she is just adorable. And from what I hear she’s also a lot of fun! : )

Also, I’m going to be in Nashville this weekend for a women’s conference that I’ve been helping plan and I’m going to re-listen to the “Nashville’s Best Eats” podcast on the drive down so that I’m well educated. : ) We’re having dinner at Cabana on Thursday evening. Have you been there? Any suggestions?

    Much love!!

That WAS fun. Totally not what I pictured Shauna’s voice to be. (As I sit here enjoying her breakfast cookies.) Who knew she says “like” and “totally” so much in real life (just like me) because that doesn’t come out in the books? This felt like coffee with girlfriends.

Love this podcast! It makes me want to visit Chicago and eat at all of those restaurants!

I thoroughly enjoyed that podcast. I loved the the topic of finding balance with home & not home. I’m so glad you started podcasting, Annie!
