Loved this and loved how transparent you both were about the hurt you experienced at church over the past year. When you said, “The right answer isn’t staying or leaving; the right answer is obedience,” I felt like I let out a breath from deep inside that I didn’t even know I was holding. Thank you! I’m excited to read Kill the Spider!

I started listening to this podcast a week ago but just kept getting side tracked. I thought that maybe I should listen to something different and then go back. Ahhh, but today I took my dog for a little unplanned walk (he just seemed to need it- ok, maybe it was me) so In one last effort to finish the podcast I put in my earbuds and off we went. A block feet later I stopped with tears in my eyes. Carlos had just explained the message his dad had told him about the cobwebs and the spider. It hit a soft spot or maybe it was a hard spot. Still remnants of trying to reconcile years of abuse my kids and myself experienced yet knowing Jesus as well. Have I just been clearing cobwebs and not killing the spider? My thoughts then went to my daughter and her struggles even with counseling. Thank you for the message.
