Stress Point: A GIVEAWAY!

My friends.

We are so lucky this week. I have something fun to giveaway today, tomorrow is America’s birthday, I have a fun giveaway on Thursday, and then Saturday is MY BIRTHDAY!

Right, so that last one may not effect you as much as it does me, but I pretty much am giggly about it because, as you may know, I absolutely love my birthday.

But, ahem, that has nothing to do with today.

. . . . .

My friend Sarah Martin has done something that not a lot of authors can do … she has written a book about 20-somethings and it is not cheesy.

MIRACLES STILL HAPPEN TODAY, PEOPLE.

You can read all about Stress Point here.

It’s a fantastic book. I promise. I endorsed it.

But here’s the real miracle for today.

A few weeks ago, I was eating at Chuy’s in Nashville and Sarah, who does not live in Nashville, walked up to my table.

I almost passed out. And then I laughed. And then I screamed and hugged her and jumped up and quickly abandoned my companions to hug and yell and smile and hug my friend Sarah.

And then I had a lightbulb moment.

My copy of Stress Point was in my car. I said, “Sarah, why don’t you sign my copy and then I’ll give it away on my blog because that is so funny that we are in the same restaurant even though we don’t live in the same city and I’ll take your picture and it will be SO HILARIOUS?”

Because I think coincidences are funny.

So she agreed, though, I’m not 100% sure she ever really got a choice because I am rather bossy when I want people to make a funny memory with me.

I ran out to my car, grabbed the book, brought it back and, still abandoning my friends at our table, I ran and sat with Sarah and two of her friends who thought I was a total freak and made her sign the book while I took a picture.

So she did! And today, I’m giving away that very copy – the one that is sitting on the table with Sarah at Chuy’s between a Diet Coke and a basket of delicious chips, the same copy that is sitting here beside me at the coffee shop. I’ll mail this puppy to you Friday.

All you have to do to enter is answer this question:

Sarah writes about different stresses of a 20-something: career, self-image, dating, friends, family, money, independence, making a difference, and spiritual maturity.

For you, either in your 20s or when you were, which of those areas could you have used some guidance?

For me, it would had been dating. For sure. [Dating in your 20s, post-college? It is hard, y’all.]

So, leave a comment below answering that question and make sure you leave a working email address in the form you fill out to comment.

Comments will close on Thursday afternoon, 5pm CST. Then I’ll pop this book in the mail to you! [I also have a few copies of From Head To Foot sitting around the house, so I’ll toss one of those in there too. Because it’s my birthday week and I can do whatever I want!]

Yay for Sarah and author friends and great books for 20-somethings!

Let's be friends!
