Moms and me.

You know my friend Sarah. She’s awesome. And she’s a mom.

I have lots of mom friends, like Melissa. And the conversation about how to be healthy friends while having totally different lifestyles and life places is such an important one.

Over at (in)courage today, I’m writing about what it’s like to be on the single side of that relationship, at least from my point of view.

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I just want to remind everyone that there are more than two possible life situations – it isn’t Mum (in the UK) or single only,
I have a few married friends who despite trying everything, haven’t been blessed with children.
And then there is where I am – at the other end, I have two kids – both at universities in different parts of the country and wihout skype I would be lost!
But the important thing is – in every situation we are in, God loves us, God knows our situation and if we will all just communicate – in any / every way we can, then we can still be friends, we can still love each other and help each other. God will honour our every attempt to help each other – He loves us more than we can imagine.

So let’s all let go of the labels, let’s all just love each other and bring God’s love into every day life for everyone around us.

    Thanks Annie,

First time visit to your blog and I love both your post and the one by Melissa. So much truth in both of them. Such a great conversation to have.
