That Sounds Fun Podcast Episode 70: Alli Worthington

on April 6, 2018 in That Sounds Fun Podcast, Uncategorized with 6 comments by

I am so excited to finally have Alli Worthington on the show. Amazing business woman, enneagram 7, and author of multiple books, including Fierce Faith, Alli is one of my favorite women. She brings the HEAT on this episode- about fear, leadership, hearing God, and why I should not have gone to the movies with a burrito in my purse. Hope you enjoy this conversation and share it with someone you know would be encouraged by Alli’s wisdom!

    Oh my goodness, Annie.
I’ve been a fan of your podcast for a while now, and this season of lent, and your guests have been transformational in my walk with God, with myself, and with others.

You have taught me so much about walking a true and authentic walk with God and I am so grateful.
Many of the things your guests have said and the conversations have challenged me and encouraged me and, for sure entertained me. Thank you for that.

I just wanted to reach out and tell you that this conversation with Alli has been one of my all time favorites and given me perspective and spoken directly to where I am right now. (Challenging job, struggling with calling and season and assignments, marriage and identity, and a waxing and waning walk with God, just to name a few things.)

Thank you for introducing me to the enneagram, and appreciation for soccer. I’m pretty sure I’m a 7 as well, the more I hear you talk about it, (I’ve yet to really believe the results of a test I’ve taken. I’m looking for a good one.)

Blessings to you, Annie F (for Fancy and Fun) Downs. I so appreciate you, my friend.

From Portland, Oregon (And yes, I’ve been to and love BridgeTown, though I do attend regularly elsewhere.)

    Much love!!!

Annie, this was a great episode. So was Dansby, so was John Crist, so was the one with Eddie at Christmas (perfect pick-me-up after a breakup!). Can you get Andrew Peterson on the show??? You mentioned with the Relevant guys that Andrew is one of your friends, so he qualifies! I love love love the Wingfeather Saga books. Love you too and wish we could be friends IRL. 🙂

Love love love this episode Ali sounds like a sister from another mother! I lover her willingness to share about her struggles with fear and overcoming perfect. Thanks for sharing Annie I love your openness and personality you are a sheer joy to listen to.

Just a quick note your contact page is broken, there is no way to get in touch. I would love to connect about being a guest on your podcast. I’m a total 7 too, just love to chat with excitement and energy. My book “Worrier to Warrior: A Mother’s Journey from Fear to Faith” is coming out next week and is very much in line with what you share about your walk with the Lord. I would be honored for the opportunity to share about mine too.

    Much love & blessings.
