Here’s the thing.
I sit at my computer all day long.
I’m talking ALL. DAY. LONG.
And I am so grateful for my job and what I get to do but trust me when I say it can get boring to sit at your computer all day long.
Most days, around 2pm-ish, after I’ve had a healthy-ish, dairy-free, we’re gonna beat this PCOS friendly lunch, I get back to work and have about an hour of solid writing before I get distracted on YouTube or the internet in general.
And I’ve decided, instead of keeping that distraction to myself, I thought I’d share it with you.
Because, you know, I’m a giver.
Or I don’t want to be the only one distracted each afternoon.
It’s not like a THING WITH IT’S OWN GRAPHIC or something that I feel the pressure to do every single day [I’m talking more to myself than to you here], but I am having a blast sharing the internet-y YouTubey things that I am finding.[And. By the way. Did you have any idea I was such a YouTube nerd? I know. I love it.]
Also. I have found in the last week or so since I began posting my Afternoon Distraction, I immediately am able to get back to work. I have no idea of the science behind that, but I know that it is true.
