Well, friends.
What a fun few days we have had. I just don’t know how to express to you what it means that people are buying and actually reading and LIKING Let’s All Be Brave.
Do you remember when I was too scared to write this book? Or how this book was a catalyst that put in counseling?
And now, to hear that God is using it in lives and it’s been the #1 HOT NEW RELEASE on Amazon all week long?
It’s just a little much for me.
(There’s lots of great places to grab the book, FYI. Amazon, Barnes and Noble, CBD, Dayspring, and I don’t have a place that starts with the letter E….)
Also, I’m on day 3 of a juice cleanse, so I’m low on food and high on emotion. As you can imagine.
I know. Ridiculous to plan a juice cleanse the week of a book release, but here’s the sitch: my eating and my body have not been in good form lately and I badly needed a reset. It’s easy for me to tell when things are whackadoodle because of my PCOS symptoms, so when they were raging, I knew it was time for a change. Also, besides the book launch, there are some other things I’m praying about and asking God to speak to me about, so I wanted some additional focus.
And nothing will remind you how much you turn to food for comfort like a juice cleanse. Good gravy. Feed me.
My wonderful intern Sarah and I are sitting at the dining room table now, with all the doors open because the weather in Nashville is crazy perfect and we are BLASTING the MoodBooster Playlist on Spotify (there’s a 2-strike-you’re-out on the cussing in songs, so we’ve skipped 2 so far, just so you know). I’m wearing my favorite pink cardigan and jeans and it’s just a super fun Friday in the office, y’all.
And. I have a 6am flight tomorrow, which is leaving my house at 4:30am… and that already hurts my feelings just thinking about it. Woof.
Speaking of this weekend- if you haven’t yet, would you mind telling your people about Let’s All Be Brave this weekend? That would be rad.
Okay, friends. Have a great weekend!! What are you up to this weekend? I’m traveling, but would love to hear what your plans are!
(Thanks again. Your support this week has been overwhelmingly kind. I”m so grateful.)
