I can’t believe it either.

It’s 11:37pm on Tuesday night.

Our church small group ran late [because we couldn’t stop laughing at the boys- they were talking like mobsters from the 1930s. I was snorting. That is severe]. So I’m just now getting home.

And now, I don’t have time to blog because…. and brace yourself for this…. I’m trying to juggle my schedule tomorrow so I can fit in exercise.

So I currently have five tabs opened across the top of my screen in attempts to find a class that I will enjoy at the YMCA close to my office .

I know. [insert blog post title here]

One quick thing: Yesterday, Sarah left a comment on The Best Date post from earlier this week asking a great question. Her bestie sometimes seems uncomfortable hanging with her and her husband. And Sarah asked, “Any suggestions as to how to make her feel comfortable or welcome would be much appreciated.”

Sarah, and all you other awesome bloggites out there, I. Have. The. Answer. [insert blog post title here]

The answer is: just talk about it. If you will express how much you genuinely want the singlet around, if you (like Jane Anne mentioned in the comments as well) worry that the singlet doesn’t want to be in a noisy house, just talk about it. [And trust me, Jane Anne, sometimes a busy loud family is just what the doctor ordered- chaos has an element of healing and a huge helping of laughs. Usually. 🙂 ]

So I could (maybe?) give you some tips of stuff to do or something like that, but the truth of the matter is that if you just have open communication, it’ll all work out.

I don’t love talking about being single. Y’all know that. But I DO love talking about this- how God uses us in each other’s lives, single or married, to express His love.

Let me share a verse with you-

Psalm 68:6 –> “God sets the lonely in families.”

I have loved that verse and prayed it over my life in every city I have ever called home. And God has been [and will be] faithful to me in every city. And He will be for you too.

If you are a singlet, ask for a family.

If you are a family, ask for a singlet.

And watch as God’s word comes alive in your home.

Well, now I’ve gone and done it. Blogged on accident.

And I’ve sat here on the couch for over 20 minutes trying to find a HILARIOUS closing to the blog post where I can write “[insert blog post here]”.

But I can’t think of anything funny. [insert blog post here]
